Integration with Snom

When it comes to Snom Technology phones, Epygi has taken the integration between the phone and PBX to an unprecedented level.  All Snom phones are true Plug-and-Play with the Epygi PBX. The phone can simply be connected to the network and it will automatically be assigned an extension and configured to the Epygi PBX. In the process of configuring the phone the Epygi PBX will automatically update the firmware on the phone to the latest recommended version that was fully tested.  A big time saver is that all of the keys on the phone can be provisioned from the Epygi PBX.  This includes a phone book directory of extensions and assigning keys for speed dialing, watched extensions (BLFs), Call Park and General Voice Mailbox extensions. Call Parking is probably the most commonly used feature as it allows a user to hold a call on the Call Park extension by simply pressing one of the Call Park keys, making it available for anyone else in the office to easily retrieve. The General Voice Mailbox allows a key on the phone to be designated for a departmental voice mailbox. The Epygi PBX also has a settings page for configuring many of the commonly used phone parameters before creating the phone configuration file. One such option will configure a key on the Snom 760 and 8xx series so that when it is pressed, it will connect to a Mobotix camera for a live video feed.
